Great food! Bakery is always full and the staff is helpful both behind the counter and at check out. The price is a little bit higher than other marts, but the quality and the shopping experience were nice. They will even load your bags into your car! This will be my favorite Market going forward.įriendly family oriented market with good quality meat, fish and bakery depts. They even walk you to your car with your groceries. I found this place it has exceptional Fresh Foods and the customer service is phenomenal. Im so sick of Stop & Shop and theyre expired Foods and horrible shopping carts. Only disappointment recently? Some of the prepackaged produce items were very close to sell by dates and a couple were past sell by dates. Would not recommend doing full shopping here. If you need a special cake, great bakers, cake designers. So bottom line, great quality at a high price.įood Sales are good. So many items are marked up way higher then they should be. However with this convenience and quality comes a price, I think it has to be the most expensive market I have even been too. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite.Įvery time I go to Farmington I always love to shop here, it is right in the neighborhood and never crowded or too busy. This place makes a great sandwich at a great price. Fresh sliced meat, and lots of it, fresh sliced cheese and a fresh roll. I wish more deli restaurants would produce a sandwich like this.
I went here for lunch based a a recommendation from a coworker and was very pleased! I had the Italian combo sandwich from the deli and it was amazing. So, if youre on a budget, this would not be the place to shop, however, if the idea of a smaller, more personalized experience is what you like, then this is the place to be. While it has a great family-feel, the products tend to be a bit on the expensive side. At checkout, the baggers always offer to bring your groceries to your car for you.
Quaint and clean inside with great friendly, outgoing service. Its sort of like your old country corner store. Friendly, approachable staff who are eager in a ckean well lit environment help make all the difference in the world. Im so sad that I wont be going back but Glastonbury Highland has spoiled us. There is no selection to speak of and it is not very clean. Far too expensive with little customer service. We just moved east of the river and assumed that Highland Park in Farmington would be our new hometown grocer. I have been a faithful customer of Highland Park Market in Glastonbury for over 10 years.
